The End of Temodar—December 24, 2003

Three months had passed, which meant it was time for another set of MRIs. After being shot up with gadolinium (which causes some tissues to stand out) and holding still while the machine around me clicked and clacked and my nose started to itch, the conclusion is...no change. My brain is still empty, and the spinal tumors have not changed. This type of routine I can live with!

It has been 18 months since I started taking Temodar, a relatively mild form of chemotherapy. Although the side effects were relatively mild, the benefits of continuing the treatment are most likely minimal, so we decided that I will stop the treatment.
