David Band's Circulars

Survived Operation (from Debbie)—August 23, 2005

Just a quick word to let you know that David came home from the hospital this afternoon. He's in pretty good shape, a little tired, but he has far less shoulder and neck muscle pain and cramping than we were told to expect. His right hand is slightly weak, which is expected after this kind of surgery, but the nerve controlling it should recover over the next couple of weeks; there was no damage per se, just manipulation and exposure.

He looks great, is moving and resting comfortably, and should be up to speed in another week or two. It's great to have him home!

We are more grateful than we can possibly say for everyone's support and e-mails and calls and prayers.
