The Binding Thread: Beautiful Jewish Books and Our Generations offers Jewish community centers, synagogues and other organizations an innovative opportunity to enhance their Jewish continuity and Jewish literacy programming. This “mini-semester” series of highly experiential, inter-generational  slide-discussions and art workshops conducted by Debra Band presents the Jewish tradition of beautiful books as a brilliant thread connecting Jewish communities across centuries and continents.

The program is designed to offer maximum educational opportunity in an engaging and enjoyable sessions for community members of all ages, childhood through adult, with maximum flexibility and minimal development effort on the part of the host institutions. The slide-discussions and art workshops offer a delightful and stimulating opportunities for joint participation by children, parents and grandparents.
